主讲人简介: 

张福明博士,1986年华侨大学获学士学位,1986-1994年bbin电子任教,1993年进修浙江大学硕士课程,1997年获英国利兹大学博士学位,2001-2003年美国The University of Iowa助理研究员,2003至今美国Rensselaer  Polytechnic Institute (RPI)大学研究员/高级科学家。主要从事糖组学和糖工程研究。在国际SCI杂志Nature nanotechnology (Nature 子刊) (IF38.986),Journal of the American chemical (JACS) (IF13.858), PLOS Pathogens(IF6.608) Carbohydrate Polymers (IF4.811)、Journal of Biological Chemistry(IF4.125)等发表200余篇,论文被引用3200余次,h-index=32 (Web of Science) 。国际会议报告60余篇,出版相关领域专著4部。担任Journal of Biomedical Technology and Research, Journal of Biotechnology and Bioengineering, Journal of Bioanalytical techniques, Current Drug Discovery Technologies, International Journal of Biochemistry & Physiology (IJBP)等5篇杂志编委委员。  

报告内容:

Glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) are anionic, polydisperse, linear polysaccharides that are often highly sulfated.  Many physiological processes and diseases are modulated through GAG-protein interactions including: blood coagulation, cell growth and differentiation, host defense, viral infection, lipid transport and metabolism, cell-to-cell and cell-to-matrix signaling, inflammation, Alzheimer’s disease and cancer.  Glycomics/interactome research is currently undergoing rapid development as a result of recent advances in technologies for glycan structural analysis and glycan-protein interactions. Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) is a powerful biosensor technique used to measure biomolecular interactions in real-time and label-free ligands. SPR has been successfully used for quantitative measuring of GAGs/heparin-protein, and biological evaluation of glycotherapeutics (such as heparin and low molecular weight heparins) in our lab.  This presentation reports the application of SPR in GAGs/heparin glycomics/interactome study.
