    主讲人简介：严文蕃，美国波士顿麻州大学终身教授、博士生导师，国际比较教育研究院院长。美国教育研究会国家数据库研究小组前主席，教育政策量化分析领域的大型数据与分析处理方面的著名专家。2003年、2005年两度获得美国富布莱特（FULBRIGHT）高级学者奖，担任《美国教育研究杂志》《比较教育评论》《当代教育心理学》等高端学术期刊和出版商的审稿。
    
    Wenfan Yan, Ph.D., Professor, Chair and Director
    Dr. Wenfan Yan is Professor and the Director of the Institute of International and Comparative Education’s (IICE), Center for U.S.- China Educational Leadership (CUSCEL) at the University of Massachusetts Boston.
    
    He received his Ph.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He teaches courses on research methods, comparative education and dissertation seminar. His research interests have been focused in the area of policy analysis around state, national, and international educational issues in equity, access, effectiveness and assessment of P-16 education. Dr. Yan has received research grant from the American Educational Research Association supported by the National Science Foundation and the National Center for Education Statistic. His recent research grant on Chinese education reform and service learning are supported by the Chinese government. His research program integrated both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, and variety of statistical analysis techniques including complex analyses procedures such as multilevel modeling.
