    主讲人简介：
    Dr. Christian Kennes is a professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of La Coruntilde;a in Spain. He undertook engineering studies in Brussels and obtained his PhD degree from the University of Louvain in Belgium. Part of his PhD research was performed in France, funded through a PhD-grant from the European Commission.
    His present research activities are largely related to environmental biotechnology and bioprocess engineering applied to biodegradation processes, biotransformation of pollutants to useful products, fermentation technology, waste gas treatment, wastewater treatment, and bioremediation. He has worked on several books focusing on bioreactors, biodegradation, bioconversion and bioenergy and has given several invited and keynote lectures on such topics. He is presently member of the Editorial Board of the following Journals: Journal of Chemical Technology & Biotechnology, Environmental Technology, Advances in Environmental Chemistry, Biofuels Research Journal, etc. He is also the main organizer of the biennal International Conference on Biotechniques for Air Pollution Control and Bioenergy (Biotechniques-conference series). Now he is also the visiting professor of Zhejiang University of Technology.
