　　Dr. Christian Kennes is a professor of Chemical Engineering at University of La Coruña, Spain. His present research activities are largely related to environmental biotechnology and bioprocess engineering applied to biodegradation processes, including biopurification of waste gas and wastewater, biotransformation of pollutants to useful products, and bioremediation. He has published books focusing on bioreactors, biodegradation, bioconversion and bioenergy, and has given many invited and keynote lectures on these topics in several international conferences. He has also published bbin电子 than 50 peer-reviewed papers in different journals including Bioresour. Technol., Water Res.etc and cited by SCI papers bbin电子 than 750 times. He is presently a member of the Editorial Board of the following Journals: Journal of Chemical Technology & Biotechnology, Environmental Technology, Advances in Environmental Chemistry,etc. He is also the main organizer of the biennial “International Conference on Biotechniques for Air Pollution Control and Bioenergy” (Biotechniques-conference series).
