Maciej Radosz致力于基于复杂液体和固体的分子热力学的研究,具体的研究领域包括:1.热力学辅助流体理论的工业应用;2.茂金属催化聚烯烃的热力学研究;3.超临界流体为反溶剂用于纳米粒子的制备和形态控制;4.用物理理论和工程理论解释高分子聚合过程中的相变化及其他性质的变化;5.通过理论和数据结合研究超临界流体中的高分子网状结构及混合物;6.建立高压反应中固液相变换的数据库及数学模型。同时,Maciej Radosz还共同参与了离子-高分子用于气体吸附和分离,高分子纳米粒用于药物输送和基因输送等课题。 Maciej Radosz已发表论文230篇,专利15项,他引次数超过5000次;建立了热力学界著名的SAFT方程并开创了这一研究领域,其中的奠基四篇论文已被他引2427次,在工业界和学术界都有广泛的应用。
讲座摘要:
Polymeric nanoparticles can be conventionally prepared in aqueous solvents, but their drug-encapsulation capacity tends to be low. By contrast, micellization and encapsulation in non-aqueous near-critical solvents, followed by solid precipitation upon decompression, often leads to a much higher encapsulation capacity. The micelle encapsulation capacity and the precipitated solid nanostructure are found to depend on the phase behavior, on the decompression path, on the drug precipitation pressure, and on the choice of the copolymer-solvent pair, none of which is well understood. Our long term research goal, therefore, is to understand the phase behavior of compressible copolymer solutions that underpins all these challenges. This work will be illustrated with examples of experimental and calculated phase diagrams, including the bulk and micellar phase transitions, and drug loading data for compressible near critical solutions of PEG-b-PCL, PS-b-PBD, PS-b-PIP, and TEM images of the nanostructured precipitated materials.
