　　罗荣博士是美国西弗吉尼亚大学副教授，在《SIAM J. Discrete Math》、《Discrete Mathematics》、《Eur. J. Comb》、《Journal of Graph Theory》、《Combinatorica》、《Graphs and Combinatorics》等著名期刊上发表论文100多篇，主持多个美国科学研究项目。
　　Graph Coloring is originated from the well-known Four Color Conjecture (Now the Four Color Theorem). It has been the main stream of graph theory and has many applications. In this talk, I will give a brief introduction to graph theory and then present some applications of graph coloring.
